Full Summer

I've just been away a few days returning to the poppies in full bloom and hay making in the fields.

Yellow finch nest.

The bird wasn't entirely happy with me for disturbing her. She is nesting in the hawthorn hedge and looked at me for some time before leaving. She was soon back on the nest. I took the photo by reaching the camera over her nest.
